How this is made

Nobody is photographing your dog.

A dog photoshoot usually means a booking two weeks out, a car ride, a strange room and an hour of him refusing to look at the lens. None of that happens here, because none of it exists here.

Said plainly: the portrait is generated by artificial intelligence. It is built from the photograph you upload, and it is not a photograph taken in a studio. What people usually ask

Is this a real photo shoot with a photographer?

No. There is no photographer, no studio and no session to attend. You upload a photo you already have and an artificial intelligence generates the studio portrait from it. We say so here, on the result screen and inside the file we print, under article 50 of the European AI Act.

What kind of photo should I upload?

Head-on or three-quarter view, eyes open, nothing covering the muzzle. Daylight beats a ceiling bulb. He does not have to sit still and the photo does not have to be good: the light is what we change, not him.

Does it work for black dogs and very fluffy dogs?

Yes, and those are the two the clean setup exists for. A black coat swallows light and a heavy coat blurs the outline, so start with a well lit photo and try the clean lighting first.

Will it still look like my dog?

That is the only thing worth judging, and you judge it before paying. Breed, markings, eye color and ear shape are kept. Small asymmetries such as a torn ear are the thing it is most likely to tidy up, so check for that in the free preview.

How long does the whole thing take?

The portrait takes about a minute. Printing and delivery take 4 to 6 working days in the United States and 3 days in Spain, from the workshop closest to your address.

What if my dog has died?

It works the same way, with whatever photo you have, even an old or poor one. If the result does not convince you, write to us and we will try again with another photo.

Can I be in the portrait with him?

Yes. Upload a normal selfie of the two of you and the studio lighting is applied to both faces. The order form will open your phone camera if you do not have one already.
