Questions people ask

Is it a photograph or an AI image?

An AI image, generated from the photograph you upload. Your dog’s face comes from your photo; the studio light and backdrop are constructed. This is stated here, on the result screen and in the metadata of the printed file, as Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires.

Which photo of my dog should I use?

The sharpest one where the eyes are open and the face is toward the camera. Daylight beats indoor light. A dirty background does not matter — it is replaced.

Does it work with a black dog, a long-haired dog, a flat-faced dog?

All three, with the usual caveat that the source photo has to hold detail in the face. Black coats and long coats are the two that suffer most from dim indoor light.

Can I get the same portrait in two formats?

Yes — people often order a canvas for themselves and a framed print for a parent.

How fast is it?

The portrait appears in about a minute. Printing and shipping take a few days; most US addresses receive it in 4 to 6 days, printed at the workshop nearest the delivery address.

What do you do with my photo?

It is used to generate your portrait and for nothing else: not published, not shared beyond the services that generate and print it, not used for training.
